There was only one other member of my safari. Philip was born in Chile, raised in the Netherlands, and currently works in South Africa and Egypt - somewhat mysterious. He did not want to take pictures as he already had many, so most of the time Philip and our guide/ driver looked for game and pointed out good shots for me to take. It was a great trip and the conversations were very interesting at least the parts that I could understand - Afrikaans, British slang, and a Dutch accent together with road noise led to a somewhat diminished verbal capability at times - if you know what I mean ...
